New In: Benefit Gimme Brow

There aren't many brands that do brows as good as Benefit. Whilst I do admit that the majority of their products are cute packaging over quality, when it comes to brow products, they're always spot on. I've been a huge fan of Brow Zings for a few years now (it's my holy grail brow product!), so I was super excited to hear about their latest brow product...

I've been using it everyday and I'm definitely impressed! It provides everything you need from a brow product- it tints your brows just like a wax or pencil would, provides the hold of a brow gel and contains mini fibres that make your brows look thicker (perfect if you've got a bit carried away with the tweezers). I've been using it over the top of my Brow Zings kit just to add even more definition and make my brows super bold and defined! But I equally love using it alone on lazy days, when I just want to fix my brows with one swipe.

If your looking for a do-it-all brow product that lasts the whole day, definitely give it a try! I went for the shade 'medium/dark' but it's also available in a lighter shade. Definitely a new favourite!

New Skincare Additions

I don't tend to switch up my skincare routine that often, but lately I've been trying out a few new products. Most of them may I add have been blogger-influenced!

Glam Glow Mud Mask:
A favourite amongst bloggers and Hollywood a-listers alike, I've always wanted to see if this face mask lived up to the hype. It's quite expensive at £25 for a small jar (which contains about 3-4 applications), however it's the only face mask I've ever used that actually delivers noticeably impressive results. The exfoliating mask has a tingling sensation on the skin and even after one application, makes your skin look so much brighter and feel incredibly smooth. The clay and volcanic mineral extracts work really well on my oily, acne prone skin to draw out impurities and help to clear blemishes. If you have a special occasion coming up and want impressive results in just 24 hours, then this is the face mask to go for! Definitely a re-purchase.

Origins GinZing Eye Cream:
I'd also heard a lot of good things about this product, and as I didn't have an eye cream in my daily routine, I decided to give it a try. Whilst I don't think it's amazing, it is a nice eye cream for young skin that doesn't have a ton of concerns such as ageing or fine lines. It's a nice basic eye cream for everyday use that provides hydration and brightness. I apply it in the morning underneath my makeup, and it does help with any dryness in the eye area as well as reducing the look of dark circles. It also sinks in really quickly which is ideal for morning use.

Hydraluron Moisture Boosting Face Masks:
As a huge fan of the original Hydraluron serum (and all things infused with hyaluronic acid), I was really excited to discover the new face masks. The kit contains 4 sheet masks all infused with hyaluronic acid- an amazing skincare ingredient that dramatically increases the skins moisture levels. Free from fragrance, they're suitable for all skin types and just like the original serum, work really well at rebalancing the skin. They're made in Japan too- where all the best sheet masks are from!

Pink Pout: MAC 'Candy Yum Yum' & Chanel 'Sonic Pink'

Bright lips aren't usually my thing but I decided to venture out of my nude comfort zone and try something new. MAC's 'Candy Yum Yum' had been on my wishlist for quite a while and since I purchased it, I've been wearing it a lot more than I thought I would.

L-R: Chanel 'Sonic Pink', MAC 'Candy Yum Yum' & Buxom 'Berry Blast'

'Candy Yum Yum' is a neon, blue-toned pink with a matte finish. It's extremely bright and definitely a statement colour! Despite it's boldness I've been wearing it almost every day since I got it. It's one of MAC's best selling shades and has certainly made it into my favourites. For the daytime, it looks gorgeous paired with simple eye makeup and a flawless base, but I've also been loving it for dramatic evening looks (especially with smokey eyes and lots of black eyeliner). As with most MAC products, it's extremely well pigmented and lasts all day. I've been pairing it with the Chanel Lip Liner in 'Sonic Pink', which is almost identical in colour. Its part of Chanels' limited edition spring collection and the formula is lovely- well pigmented, very smooth to apply and long lasting. To add some shine and gloss, I finish off with my Buxom Lip Creme in 'Berry Blast' which is another similar colour.

Final verdict? 'Candy Yum Yum' is a winner! I've been reaching for it so often recently, and I can see it becoming even more of a favourite during the spring and summer.

New In: Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushers

Just when I thought my makeup wish list couldn't get any longer, these came along. There's just so many exciting makeup collections at the moment and these new blushers from Hourglass are no exception! I've been a huge fan of their infamous ambient lighting powders ever since I purchased the face palette a few months ago (post here), so I was extremely excited to see a line of blushers. As soon as they were in stock I placed my order on SpaceNK, and today, they arrived...

The colour selection was so lovely that it was difficult to choose just a few shades from the range. I ended up going for 'Diffused Heat', a peachy coral shade, and 'Radiant Magenta', a bright fuschia pink (I think this one will go really well with my MAC 'Candy Yum Yum' lipstick...). With a silky smooth texture, luminous glow and gorgeous natural finish, Hourglass have done it yet again.

For those of us in the UK, you can find them online at SpaceNK and Liberty's.  I can definitely see myself picking up a few more shades very soon!
